EvidenSend is designed for secure video documentation handling with user-controlled transfer. This policy explains what data may be used and how it is handled.
Data types processed
- Recorded videos: videos captured by you in the app.
- Optional location: location metadata only when location permissions are enabled and you choose to include it.
- Optional recipient emails: email addresses entered by you for sending video files.
- Optional Dropbox integration: if you connect Dropbox, files are sent to your own Dropbox account.
Local storage until send
Video data stays on your device until you press Send. The app does not perform background recording or automatic background uploads of video data.
Dropbox integration
Dropbox is optional. If used, video files are stored only in the Dropbox account you connect. Your Dropbox account settings and policies determine retention and access in Dropbox.
When you connect Dropbox, EvidenSend only uploads files that you explicitly choose to send. The app does not scan or access other files in your Dropbox account.
No sale of personal data and no ad tracking
EvidenSend does not sell personal data and does not use ad-tracking behavior for marketing profiles.
EvidenSend does not store video content on its own servers.
The app does not use third-party analytics services that track personal behavior.
EvidenSend does not monitor, access, or review the content you record.
How to delete data
- On-device data: remove videos from the app/device storage.
- Dropbox data: delete files from your Dropbox account if you previously sent them there.
- Email-delivered data: request deletion from recipients or delete from mail systems under your control.
