What should I test before relying on EvidenSend?

Test the Send Now flow, verify what reaches your destination, and confirm whether local, iCloud, Email, Dropbox, and SMS behave the way you expect.

How does iCloud work with EvidenSend?

iCloud gives off-device protection and access through the Files app. You can also share the EvidenSend folder from Files if trusted contacts need access.

How does Dropbox work with EvidenSend?

Dropbox is optional. If connected, sent files are stored in your own Dropbox account. If Dropbox links are not being created, check that the email address on that Dropbox account is verified. If the app offers a direct Dropbox verification link, use that link first. You can disconnect Dropbox at any time from your account settings.

Why is Email setup failing?

Check your account login first. If the provider blocks direct sign-in from apps, create an app password in your mail account security settings and test again.

What happens if a phone call comes in or the app goes to the background?

Recording stops if EvidenSend is interrupted by a phone call or if the app is sent to the background. To continue recording, return to EvidenSend and start a new Send Now or Loop Recording session.

How do SMS recipients work?

The SMS option is available when Email or Dropbox delivery is enabled. Send Now opens a ready-made SMS message to configured recipients. You still need to tap Send in the pre-opened Messages view, because iPhone apps cannot send SMS automatically without user confirmation. Location can be included, and Dropbox links can be included if Dropbox delivery is enabled.

Why did nothing arrive at the destination?

Check permissions, network connection, destination setup, account credentials, and whether the recipient details were correct.

How can I delete my data?

Delete videos from the device or app. If files were sent to iCloud, Dropbox, Email, or other recipients, delete copies from those destinations as well.

Uploads are failing. What should I check?

Verify network connection, destination credentials, and storage permissions. Retry on stable Wi-Fi and confirm recipient, Email, iCloud, or Dropbox availability. If the issue is Dropbox link creation, also verify the Dropbox account email address.
